Mind Over Chatter
Psychotherapy
Life can be overwhelming, and sometimes the noise in our minds makes it hard to find clarity, peace, or direction. At Mind Over Chatter, you’ll find a calm, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and begin to make sense of things — at your own pace.
Whether you're navigating anxiety, relationship challenges, low mood, or simply feeling stuck, I’m here to listen without judgment and work with you toward healing and growth.
Counselling is an open-ended process, and we’ll regularly check in — beginning with a review after six sessions — to ensure it’s working for you.
Take the first step toward feeling more grounded and connected. You don’t have to do this alone.
“When we are no longer able to change a situation, we are challenged to change ourselves.”
– Viktor E. Frankl

About Me
My name is Amber D'warte
Hi, I’m Amber — a qualified counsellor and the person behind Mind Over Chatter Psychotherapy.
My path into counselling began with online courses and grew into a deep commitment to this work. After five years of study, I graduated from college with a formal counselling qualification. Through this journey, I’ve developed a compassionate, person-centred approach that values each client’s unique story and pace.
I believe therapy doesn’t have to be intimidating. My aim is to create a safe, down-to-earth space where you can feel heard, understood, and supported — whether you're facing anxiety, relationship challenges, low mood, or simply seeking greater self-understanding.
When I’m not in session, you’ll often find me connecting with nature — whether it's a quiet walk through the woods or just taking time to pause and breathe outdoors. I believe that grounding in the natural world helps us slow down, reflect, and reconnect with ourselves — something I bring into my work with clients too.

Frequently Asked Questions
"What issues can I bring to counselling?"
You can bring anything that’s on your mind — big or small. Common reasons include anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, relationship struggles, grief, or simply feeling stuck or overwhelmed.
"What happens if I need to cancel?"
You can cancel or reschedule with at least 24 hours’ notice. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or missed sessions are charged at the full session fee. I understand that life happens, and exceptions may be made in emergencies.
"Is what I share in counselling confidential?"
Yes. Everything you share is treated confidentially, with a few legal and ethical exceptions — for example, if there’s a risk of serious harm to yourself or others. We’ll talk more about this during your first session.
"How do I get started?"
You can get in touch via the Contact page to book an initial consultation or ask any questions. I’ll reply within 1–2 working days.
